My Muay Thai journey started when I began training Muay Thai in 2021, just coming out of Covid-19. Like many, my mental and physical wellbeing wasn't the best coming out of the pandemic and I knew I was missing something in my life. That is where I came across a suggested video on youtube of Muay Thai; Like many, I had never heard of the sport before but it captivated me rapidly with the culture, respect and discipline and competitiveness it instils and I signed up to my local gym at the time that offered classes and 1 class a week became 2, 2 became 4, 5 became 5 and soon enough i was training Muay Thai most days of the week.

Fast forward to 2024 I am now fighting at a professional level, have an amateur open world title under my belt with multiple fights and my eyes set on reaching the apex of the sport and competing at the highest level representing MGM Gym, making it my career and drive in life.

In addition to this I lead a weekly class on Fridays at MGM Gym for all levels of experience; my teaching style focuses on drills and core fighting techniques, as well as HIIT and cardio circuits and identifying potential fighters and getting them on the ladder to compete and fight at amateur or professional level.

I am also a qualified Personal Trainer, offering 1-1 Muay Thai coaching as well as focusing on sport specific fitness and training for any athlete in any sport, from working with golfers to improve their swing power to swimmers looking to improve their lap time, in addition to clients looking for general gym fitness and a healthier lifestyle.

Other interests I have are running, playing Golf and the occasional music festival.I am also aiming to complete my first triathlon this year.

My mission statement as a coach and athlete is to introduce as many people as possible to the innumerable benefits of training Muay Thai or any martial art - instilling discipline, fitness, self - care and respect to garner invaluable life skills. This is what the sport has taught me, and I hope to pass on to others, giving back to the Muay Thai community that has given so much to me.
